Q:
Is this a good place to get some work done? Do they have outlets?
A:
Limited seating. I cannot recall outlets but for sure not every seat would have an outlet.

If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing place, Hinar dessert bar and café has you covered! From tasty dessert options to delicious coffee with homemade syrups. I will For sure be coming back. Also, the customer service was amazing. They also have a flower shop and eyebrow place
behind the store. Definitely need to check that out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kaity W.Kapolei, HI012Apr 2, 2024
A friend and I decided to drop by Hinar Cafe this past February in order to get some work done. The ambiance and staff at Hinar are all very wonderful. The guy who helped us at the front was very kind and made us feel welcomed. We ended up ordering the regular latte, the orange blossom latte, and their small raspberry cake. Both of the coffees' quality were good, neither of us had any complaints. The raspberry cake was also good although I wouldn't consider it a must try when you visit Hinar. There are a few outlets here and there although seating is usually taken up. I would suggest coming with your laptop fully charged if you plan on studying here. Either way, I really enjoyed my visit to Hinar!

Everything about this place is wonderful. I'm glad it's low-key and doesn't have long lines on weekends.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
You'll have to rely on street parking for this cafe
II. SERVICE
The owner, himself, took my order. He kindly let me know his wife decorated the interior and they support a local floral business with arrangements around the shop. Also, the place is dog friendly..!
III. QUALITY
I really enjoyed the fine details of this cafe, including the custom made pottery I drank my double espresso from. The pastries? Phenomenal. As a baker myself, the slightly acidic strawberry reduction was a beautiful pairing with the alkaline and fluffy sesame cream.! Highly recommend trying the black sesame dessert.
IV. CAPACITY
Seating is slim. There's about 5 tables up front and then seating that continues in the back.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alfredo H.San Diego, CA07Apr 25, 2024

This cafe is so welcoming that I keep going back.
The menu was exciting; everything looked amazing, especially the desserts which were super pretty. It was tough to choose! I ended up getting an orange blossom latte, and my husband picked a herbal tea. We also couldn't resist trying the chocolate cake.
We were really looking forward to the dessert because it looked fantastic. Both the coffee and the cake were presented beautifully--definitely a 10 out of 10. My latte wasn't too sweet, which I loved, and it had a unique flavor that really stood out. Plus, they switched out regular milk for oat milk without charging extra, which was a nice touch.
My husband was happy with his tea, and the cake was delicious and rich. Just a heads up, though, the cake is pretty heavy, so it might be a good idea to share it.
All in all, this cafe is a great spot whether you're looking to chill, get some work done, or just enjoy a good drink and treat. I'd totally recommend dropping by if you're in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 22, 2023Previous reviewHad heard a lot about this cafe and wanted to check it out.
They are located in the heart of downtown and very close to the MTS train station. As soon as I entered the cafe, I felt transported. The ambiance was so warm and welcoming.
They had some really good looking gorgeous dessert options. I decided to get a special latte with their orange blossom syrup. My friend tried one of their macarons. The latte cup size was adequate and the flavor was out of the world. I was blown away by how it was perfectly created.
The dessert was beautifully balanced and tasted amazing. The music played at the cafe was soothing and not too loud. There was plenty of seating space around the cafe. Above everything, the people at the counter were gracious and sweet. They patiently answered all my questions. All their dessert items are made in house my special pastry chefs. I can't wait to go back and try the other desserts. They all look so beautiful! I guess I have found my favorite cafe in downtown San Diego! - Mar 20, 2024
I love the aesthetics of this bakery! I got a variety of baked goods and the cashier was super sweet. She even took photos of me!
Each dessert was so pretty, I didn't even want to eat it! I tried the lemon poppy, black sesame, mixed berry, chocolate cake, and strawberry cream. My favorite was probably the black sesame. So glad I was able to pick up these treats for August birthdays in the office.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 25, 2024
The Food, Service, Vibe & Customer Care was top notch!
We accidentally Stumbled upon this Dessert Bar and wow it didn't disappoint. The cakes, and cheesecakes were amazing and flavorful.
Definitely recommend the Lemon poppy cake & the Bischoff Cheesecake.
All syrups are house made making the lattes and coffee more flavorful.
The customer service was above and beyond our expectations!
Great way of running a business! Will definitely be back when I'm in town.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 2957331869Mar 17, 20241 check-in
Amazing cafe! Aesthetically pleasing with the middle Eastern style and modern design. We were immediately impressed and relaxed when we walked in.
The orange blossom latte is amazing! Highly recommend. The basque cheese cake was also very good. It's creamy but lighter than traditional New York cheese. The savory spinach feta cheese phyllo dough was also very good. The service was great. They knew it's my first time visiting and introduced me to the patio and stores behind for eyebrows and flowers. Such a cute store. We will come again for sure!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 473932Mar 7, 2024
